Satellite Patch

A Patch within Satellite usually consists of one sound, such as a single drum loop, or even an entire bass sound containing several separate samples (wav/aif sounds) that can be played across the keyboard. In some cases, especially with SoundBlocks that contain one-shot hits or phrases (these do not loop), many individual sounds can be mapped across your keyboard within a single patch.

Sometimes a patch will be duplicated to provide different sonic possibilities from one Multi to another. This duplication increases the number of patches found within a SoundBlock, but also saves on how much of your RAM is utilized. So there isn’t necessarily a one-to-one correlation between sounds and patches in a SoundBlock.
