Samplebase ignition2 File extension ? sbb

Hi
My Laptop uses Vista. After downloading Samplebase ignition2 today, is was saved with extension .sbb. ie MicroSoft Small Business Backup. Very odd and incorrect I suspect. I can't activate the program to install it. What should the extension be or how to install the program I've downloaded?

Hello Jono and welcome,

.sbb is the extension of what is known as a SoundBlock. The SoundBlock loads into Satellite, available free: http://samplebase.com/satellite.htm

Satellite works on Vista (I've tested it on Vista 64bit) so once you load Satellite into your DAW, launch it, and finally load in your SoundBlock. Make sure you have a MIDI controller handy. PulsationStation 2 uses a lot of modulation wheel interaction we think you'll enjoy.
