Satellite Hangs in Sonar 8.5 64 bit on Vista

Just downloaded a number of soundblocks and much to my dismay when I open the Satellite in Sonar 8.5 running on windows Vista 64bit, it hangs my system.

There are no other VSTs loaded, just Satellite and one soundblock.

Is there any ideas and/or solutions. I have used this product successfully before on Sonar running in 32bit on XP and loved it.

Very sorry to hear that, man. There is nothing more frustrating than having a system that works great until you upgrade (and if you're a working musician, there is never a good time for that).

While the topic is on Windows 7 64bit, the concept should be the same. There are a couple of different suggestions in that forum post that you could try. I have tested Satellite on Vista 64bit as a standalone app and it worked fine, so this issue is related to how Sonar is handling 32bit plug-ins like Satellite.
