SoundBlocks won't load into Satellite

When I try to load a SoundBlock into Satellite AU, I get a window that simply tells me: "Satellite Error - The file was not loaded." I use a Mac G5 Tower Dual 2.5 running Tiger 10.4.11 and Digital Performer 6.03. I previously used a Dual 1.8, also running Tiger 10.4.11 and DP 6.03, and Satellite performed flawlessly with that machine. I've used a fresh download of Satellite AU and the Ignition Soundblock, logged out then in, restarted, repaired permissions, etc. (several times and in different combinations) to no avail.

I should add that I also installed Satellite Standalone. Without it, the SoundBlock icons were of a generic document, and "Get Info" recognized them as text documents, though they retained the .ssb extension.After I installed the standalone, SoundBlock icons appeared as blue squares, and my Mac recognized them as SoundBlocks. They won't load into the standalone, either.

What you are reporting is an error that is given when Satellite does not
recognize the SoundBlock (usually because it was downloaded from another
account) or it is possible that the SoundBlock has become corrupt somehow. Are you
using any sort of download manager to download SoundBlocks? Sometimes that can also cause problems.


See if a re-download will help. Also, try another computer to see if the
problem only resides on your current MAC.
