Fruity Loops Drum Kits and Sounds

Innovative programmers and musicians have found ways to make music using nothing more than personal computer (PC) and a few samples of music on their hard drive. Fruity Loops, or FL Studio as it is known these days, is one such program that allows people to take samples and put them together to create their own composition or music. It takes the music industry and puts it in the hands of the average person allowing anyone to try their hand at music. But even if you have the program you still need sounds for Fruity Loops. Drum kits and sounds for the program can be obtained nearly anywhere on the Internet, but some places - like Sample Base - offer you a wide and high quality selection.

The Internet is filled with places where you can download sounds, samples and all sorts of other musical files that you can use with Fruity Loops. Drum kits and sounds can be purchased from some sites or downloaded free from others. The problem, of course, is whether or not the site you downloaded it from for free is even allowed to spread those sounds. In most cases the site's owner did indeed create that sound and it is theirs to spread as they see fit. But there are just as many instances where they have no right to spread that sound over the Internet. Sample Base, however, offers a range of free sounds for download as well as others that requires you to pay a small fee to use them.

Amongst all the other programs that do similar things, many people say that if they had to choose the easiest one - it would be Fruity Loops. Drum kits and sounds are just a small sample of what is used in the program. By using a pattern-based music sequencer the artist can make songs out of pieces of sounds. The pieces can be combined together and then various effects can be added to that to make it sound just the way the artist wants it to sound. Amongst hobby music artists, the program is quite well known since it does not cost too much and is very easy to use. Along with sites like Sample Base, these 'backyard musicians' can create anything from hip hop to electronica, to dance, to garage and just about anything else they can come up with.

So once again technology and a little innovation has brought what was once an elite business into the homes of ordinary people. With Fruity Loops, drum kits and sounds - and some patience and experience - anybody can make their own songs to suit their needs. Put that together with sites like Sample Base that are dedicated to bringing the best samples to the people and you might even have a new wave of music on the horizon. The music business is a strange one. Who knows what they will come up with next?
